    The Third Level Graduate Scheme is created to allow the foreign graduates who are from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who obtained a primary, masters or doctorate degree from an Irish third level educational institution to remain in Ireland for a period of six months to two years.     A deposit is payable to secure the student’s place on most colleges/ universities. If a deposit is required, it will be mentioned in the offer letter.

     The Third Level Graduate Scheme is nothing but which allows the non-EEA students who graduated from any of the Irish higher education institutions to remain in Ireland to seek employment.

     Yes the on-campus accommodation is available in many institutions but it is not guaranteed to all the students.

     If the students who are from non-EEA are coming to study in Ireland, they must be enrolled in a full-time course on The Interim List of Eligible Programmes (ILEP). You must check the ILEP to check whether the course you have chosen is available on that list or not. Your student permission will be granted only if you have enrolled on a course which is listed on The Interim List of Eligible Programs.

     There are 4 categories in which the ILEP for student immigration permission is divided. They are:

    Higher Education Programmes leading to Major Awards Higher Education Programmes leading to Non Major Awards Professional Awards English Language Programmes

    The students are advised to research on the courses he wishes to enroll in.

    All the fees which are applicable to the course will be clearly notified to the students before enrolling in the course. The students will not be asked any extra fee which is not mentioned to them earlier.

    The students are not allowed to bring their family members in general. For visa required students, their husband, wife, or child will have to make their own. Spouses or children will be considered as applicants on their own right. They should advance their application for entry or residence on the basis of their relationship with a student. The students are not allowed to accompany their children other than those who are born during their stay.

     A basic policy which covers emergency medical expenses like accident requiring hospital expenses must be possessed by non-EEA students and a proof of insurance should be submitted at the time of registration.
