GISMA Business School

GISMA Business School, Germany

The German International Graduate School of Management and Administration also known as GISMA, was begun by former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder in 1999. GISMA was established with the help of the State of Lower Saxony and several large companies in the region, such as Nord/LB, Volkswagen, Siemens, and Continental.

The main aim of GISMA is to offer globally recognised management education and give students an opportunity to study in an international setting. The idea for GISMA came from the need to retain management talent in Germany and attract skilled internationals to study and subsequently work in the country.

GISMA’s MBA programmes have been accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) since 2011. It is located in the city centres of Hannover and Berlin.
